Zack-Zack!
9 images polyptyque, 2013

I was invited to take part in a group show in the gallery tête in Berlin curated by the collective Miraprospekt. There was no specific theme or directive to follow for the show. As we were a lot of people to show our works at this occasion, the space was very limited for each of us. I had at the time no work already produced and ready to be exhibit right away that could fit this requirement. I had then to find a way and remembered a piece I did earlier that was showed in the Doswell Gallery (2010). I went back to what I call my Dailies and selected pictures that I thought could play well together. As I was selecting images, I started to see a sort of pattern or underlying common point in all the images. In many different ways — visual, symbolic, refection, true-false, double, inside-out, black and white, lights and shadows — everything here (and so does the title too) is turning around the idea of two.
